KZN A Not So Sunny Destination

As I’m sure you are all aware lately the weather just hasn’t been playing its part!  It’s always raining, the wind is unreal and causing damage all over the place, we’ve had hail in some parts of KZN and to top that all off the power is always being cut – but that is a whole other story on its own!

The sun seems to have come out today (Wednesday 31 October) but the wind is still howling and with a bit of sun showing you can be certain there will be showers later on tonight. And don’t think the weathers getting any better as we move forward to the weekend, with an average wind speed of 25 knots every day, 10- 30 % chance of rain and cloud cover with minimal sun, so I wouldn’t start planning a braai day any time soon!

As far as damage goes I’m sure there is little bits here and there around town – local car dealership, Mystic Cars had an unfortunate incident with both the wind and rain last night, as seen in the picture above. If you drive around Ballito I’m sure you’ll notice the weeks of heavy rains have taken quite a toll on our roads and now my new tyres, my house has flooded multiple times which is awesome because Persian carpets love getting wet!
