The 5-star Hotel Izulu in Ballito continues to tantalise the taste buds and has announced its Valentines Day menu, created by the Executive Chef, Karel Jacobs. The menu aspires to offer yet another experience in the culinary journeys Hotel Izulu has become renowned for inKwaZulu-Natal.
A beautifully presented, signature 4 course menu, at R280.00 per person, has been created for guests to enjoy in Gigi’s Brasserie. The menu boasts smoked Franschhoek salmon trout salad with roasted beetroot and almond with rocket and gorgonzola cheese served with balsamic and parmesan vinaigrette. Next is a refreshing strawberry, Champagne and rose water sorbet followed by the main course which consists of grilled fillet of beef with seasonal roasted vegetables and spinach and mint mashed potatoes with a port jus. An equally delicious vegetarian option will be available on request.
For the grand finale, a chocolate parfait with a Lindt marble chocolate parfait heart with fresh berries and spun sugar is presented.
