Ballito Business : Meet Hirsch’s PRO

What do you do for a living? If you run a business tell us a little about it.

I am Danielle Dalton and I am currently the PRO for the Hirsch’s store – It is our job to organise monthly events in store, and to attend functions/events which are beneficial to the store    Networking is a big part of the job, and we do this to bring people in to the store. We have to be the creative ones

How long have you been doing business in Ballito?

I have been in Ballito for 5 years, but have only very recently started with Hirsch’s. So 3 months with Hirsch’s.

What makes your business unique or different to other businesses on the coast?

Hirsch’s is a family run business built on service, and this alone is something to be proud of. They have grown from strength to strength and have now got 13 stores nationwide, including a decor store

How important is Service in business – what is your approach or philosophy to service?

Like they say at Hirsch’s.  – We give 6 star service ! Hirsch’s believe very strongly that giving good service is a fundamental part of business, as customers will then happily return. I agree 100% with this statement. Giving good service to each customer that walks through the door helps make their shopping experience worth it, and therefore builds a good relationship with them  Service s one of the biggest puzzle pieces in the business !

Do you believe the customer is King?

Of course ! Our mission statement is : “ To have happy returning customers by providing superb service “. They come in to purchase items, and it is our duty as a team to give them what they came in store for.

How long have you stayed on the North Coast?

5 HAPPY YEARS !

I’m a strong believer in taking chances, and believe that this is going to be an exciting and busy venture ! I am organised and a real people person, so look forward to meeting new faces and networking through this job

What is your best place to get away from it all less than 2 hours away from home?

Most probably the Midlands – I am a real Midlands Meander/Berg Lover. Nothing beats some quiet time
