KZN based media and publishing house has launched its fifth online news site, complimenting the twelve magazines and four community news sites they current publish and manage. The online news site, aptly named FabNews Online is a consolidation of their other online news offerings and plans to be a significant role player in the source of lifestyle news, celebrity going ons, community news and local gossip while sharing the hottest fashion, photos and places to hang out plus much more.
The online news site looks to ensure that focus is drawn to the company brand, FabMags, along with their established and growing brands that include The Ballito, The Umhlanga, The Bay Mag, The City Mag, Simbithi Estate Magazine, Mount Edgecombe Estate Magazine, Seaward Estate Magazine and several more. FabMags’ community magazines reach over 45,000 homes collectively every edition with an estimated readership in excess of 180,000.
The current online news sites owned and managed by FabMags sees in excess of 20,000 visitors (unique and returning) every month and they envisage that FabNews will see over 500,000 visits in its first year with in excess of 1 million pages views.
FabMags is also working on a unique media strategy for the latter half of the year that will prove the company continues to innovate and offer the best value to its advertising clients and partners.
