Tickets go on sale for Ballito Street Heroes 2014

The wait is finally over; ­ tickets for the 2014 Ballito Street Heroes went on sale on Friday, 1 August 2014. This year’s event, taking place from 13 -­ 14 September, is set to once again light up Ballito with great street racing action, coupled with two days of petrol head euphoria.

For those of you who attended last year’s thrilling event, you have been emailed with a special offer where the first two tickets you buy sees you getting a third one free. This offer is available up to the weekend of 8 to 10 August.

If the event was not enticing enough, the first 500 ticket purchasers will be put into a draw to win a weekend stay for two at the 5-star Izulu Hotel, which includes breakfast and a voucher for the Impilo Spa, along with a ride in a Ferrari, and two free tickets to the event.

Alternatively, you can like and share the Ballito Street Heroes Facebook page and stand a chance to win, too.

To whet racing fans’ appetites, an activation event will be taking place on Saturday, 9 August, from 10:00 to 11:30 on the corner of King Shaka Road and Chief Albert Luthuli Road in Stanger.

This appetiser to Ballito Street Heroes will see drifting, burnouts, and exotic car displays including a rolls Royce and a Ferrari 458 – all packed into a small taste of what the September weekend has in store.

Tickets for Ballito Street Heroes 2014 will start at R95 ­ which includes parking ­ and children under the age of 5 get in for free. Children between 6 and 12 only pay R50.

A general entry weekend pass is R130, while a single day general entry and grandstand seat combo will be priced at R150.

Those of you who would like the executive treatment, hospitality packages which include catering and bar facilities, and greater access to the cars on display ­ start at R1150 per person.

The 2014 edition of Ballito Street Heroes is set to be even better than last year’s show ­ so you don’t want to miss out.
