The Matric Class of 2013 finish up their final exams this week.

For the past year the Red Frog Crew have been preparing for this week and have been visiting a number of schools around the country presenting on “How to Party Safe”.  These seminars have been an opportunity to educate Matric students on what to look out for on Matric holiday and how to have fun while staying safe.

The Red Frogs aim is to be a fun, sober, positive presence for Matrics during their end of year celebrations, and this year the Crew can be found at Ballito, Umhlanga, Margate, Plettenberg Bay and Lake Kariba (Zimbabwe).

The Crew has over 250 volunteers across locations and will be present from 28 November until 8 December.

1 tonne of Cartoon Candy Red Frog sweets has been delivered this week and the Red Frogs have enough pancake mix to make over 30 000 pancakes.

The Red Frogs Hotline runs 24/7 and Matrics can call 076 RED FROG (733 3764) to make pancakes bookings or for help in any situation at any time.

Volunteers around the country have been through training and are ready to head out to the locations they are helping at. Our first week of volunteers arrive on Thursday 28 November.

“We want to be present for these guys, to make sure they are safe and that they have a really good time! We always meet such legends and are really looking forward to helping out this year” – Red Frog Volunteer.
