On Friday, 17 May, Crawford College North Coast celebrated its first Colour Festival. This event was part of the Grade 11s fundraising for their Matric Dance in 2014.
The much-anticipated event which was inspired by the Holi Festival was organised by Grade 11 student, Yudhisthar Pather. Students dressed in white and collected their packets of coloured powder. Soon the College quad was transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour as students gleefully showered each other with shaded powder, thus giving a new meaning to the term ‘rainbow nation’.
